Hi GB,
Seems like you'll be surprised to read this 6 years later! Fact is I've only just found your excellent article about Cleethorpes. Indeed, I've only just dicovered h2g2! Your article caught my eye because I spent 13 years of my life in Cleethorpes. My son was in the 4th Cleethorpes Scouts (and I was a parent helper); we lived in St Peter's Ave.; I even became a councillor (made the front page of the GET at the beginning of May '85!). I made many friends during my time there and am still just about in touch with some. Unfortunately quite a few have passed on. But Cleethorpes will always remain close to my heart and holds many many happy memories.

Hi Plotinlaois
I still live here
I just wrote A37879285 you might be interested and also that's a good litmus test for how my writing has improved over the 8 years I've been writing for h2g2. I also wrote A7012342A5964979 and A5137283
I've also featured on the front page of the GET
Where on are you now then?

Where on earth are you now then?
The answer's in my nickname - I started my message board life on the Gardening section talking about my small new "plot in (County) Laois".
Where's that? In the Irish midlands. It's pronounced "leash" and is much hillier than your Lincolnshire. More like my birth county of Herefordshire in fact. See also my first h2g2 entry A39559404.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
