Thursday, 18 September, 2008: Change to h2g2 Age Policy
The H2G2 Editors Started conversation Sep 18, 2008
In order to bring our policy in line with that of the BBC as a whole, some changes have been applied to h2g2. From today all users of h2g2 must be 16 years old or more to register or post to the discussions. We apologise for the inconvenience to the small number of members who are under 16, however, this is an important and necessary measure to improve the safety of younger users and to bring h2g2 in line with the policies in place on other BBC social media services.
If you are one of the members who can no longer use h2g2, there are many topics to visit on the CBBC, Blast and Newsround websites:

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
