The Internal Jukebox is that device in your brain which catches hold of a hook, a line, a verse, a tune of a song and sticks it on repeat in your head forever. Mine's had "Excerpt from a Teenage opera" by Keith West and "Thorn In My Side" by the Eurythmics going round in it for years.
And now, after I listened to some MP3s last night, they've got a little friend.
Yes, they've been joined by "roam" by the B-52s
*wanders off singing*
Ro-oam if you want to!
Roam around the world!

Mine tends to alternate between 'Love is the Law' by the Seahorses and 'D'yer Know What I Mean?" by Oasis.

Rather infuriatingly, mine always plays 'Honey 2 The B' by Billie Piper whenever I try to concentrate on an exam paper.

My jukebox tends to play random songs if there's any stretch of silence...last night I had that song in my head, don't know what it's called, but it goes:
Gotta write a symphony
make it from the heart of me
tie it in a ribbon made of gold
and give it to Cindy
today it's Cindy's birthday...
Or something to that effect...now I haven't heard that song easily in over 10 years....weird@rse jukebox...

How about the soundtrack for Civilization III? Every time I play it I swear I'll turn down the sound but every time I'm sucked into the Celtic/Indo/Asian/New Age F'ing PanPipe Hell!!!

It's like being stuck in an elevator with the soundtrack stuck on 5 songs. All very mellodious, all enchanting, but actually EVIL, MIND SUCKING PAP!
Not that it bothers me that much..........

Don Amott, King of Caravans.
(I know that will make no sense to anyone who didn't watch adverts on ITV in the Midlands during the 1980s, but will make all the sense in the world to those who did)

I recently acquired a new earworm on the infernal interval jukebox. Coconut by Nilsson. I'd never heard it until this year, and now it lodges itself in my brain for weeks at a time
