Karey Kirkpatrick, the guy who did the final revisions of Douglas Adams' HitchHikers Guide script, has, rather idisyncratically, interviewed himself.

Excellent! I love it! He seems like a very good choice. Now if I can just use this hammer to beat down the butterflies in my stomach for the entire year I have to wait for the film.....

btw, what is your favourite quote?

Mine remains *a pile of fetid dingo's kidneys* smiley - laugh

At the beginning of ther first bit, i love Arthur's rant about going to the planning department and finding plans, which leads to this great exchange between him and Prosser:

"The lights had probably gone"
"So had the stairs"

"Take it easy," pleaded Arthur, "you're making me space sick."

"Time sick," said Ford. "We're plummeting backward through time."

"Thank you," said Arthur, "now I think I really am going to be ill."

"Go ahead," said Zaphod, "we could do with a little color about the place."

Nope, sorry, I'll stick with the kidneys! Such an all-purpose phrase. I've described myself as feeling like it when I am hung over, using it in it's original form as in *I don't give a...*, or describing a particular individual before I've had enough alcohol to make her pretty. I get three responses. A blank look followed by a guffaw, a comment that I use the phrase to much, or a smiley - biggrin and the words *Hitch Hiker's Guide!!!* shouted at me!

*...and the girls are all pretty at closing time!*smiley - musicalnote

We have here in Canada certain females who are known as *six pack princesses*. Of course in other countries they would be considered beautiful, but here the standard is so high that now and then we have to help.smiley - winkeye

I've been to Canada. I can't say I saw many amazingly attractive women!

I dated an attractive Canadian girl for a while last year.
In the end she left me on the piffling excuse that she was going back to Canada. C'est La Vie.

I didn't see any hot chicks in Canada either. Unless you count the Japanese girls, but they weren't Canadian, they were Japanese.

Hmm.

I actually think I was the hottest thing in Canada for those 4 months.

How interesting.
