Interesting article, but what have you based them on.
Do you have any experience with Islam?
Have you lived in the Middle East?
Did you read some books on current life in the Middle East?

I think you may have taken the article the wrong way. What I think he was trying to get accross is that as a religion Islam is probably good, but there are people trying to turn it into an excuse for evil and they are not good

I would go even further. I bet you that given the right stimulant anyone, you, me, that nice guy who lives right across you could do it
You would be suprised what someone could stoop to if you push thenm far enough

The Cynic

In Islam you are not allowed to kill, fight or start wars on anyone. The onlt time you can is when you have no other alternitive eg: talking failed would not listen to reason, and even then there is rules. Not to attack women and children or the old and ill. Only attack military installtions is basically what it comes down to in this day and ege. I hate the fact that september the 11th happened and I equally hate the fact that afghanistan was bombed. More inocent civilions died in the bombing raids than died in the world trade center. What did they achieve nothing the country is more unstable than it ever was and now all them kids who have grown up seeing there family die because of US and UK bombs will become future terrorists. What does not help is that you have the media portraying all Muslims as haters of the west and people of other religions which is not true at all. Being a Muslim is accepting that there are people who will never beleave the things we do in one god and that being Allah. We are taught to live with them and treat them as fellow humans but if they attack us and give us no other means then we will fight back. The people who flew them planes and those people who are responsable for what happened stopped being Muslims once they started to go through with there plan. In fact they were probabley not proper Muslims in the first place. True Muslims would never do some thing like that.
