Indeed. In fact it seems as if Islam has simply gone the same way as Christianity. While being, at their bases, quite reasonable, they have been twisted and used by men to their own devices. True Islam, I am sure, would indeed condemn the attack on the World Trade Center. But true Christianity, also, would have condemned such things as the crusades, which were surely just as bad.
