I'm still wondering what could be wrong with being called Simon. I don't know many of them but it doesn't seem to be the damning state of affairs implied by web head.
The rest took some parsing. I think Owl needs to lend more than just the caps lock key - a few punctuation keys wouldn't go amiss.
Without having seen Spook in action I'd have to reserve judgement on whether I want to do either of those last things the same way or not though.

yeah, that was spook, he didint think it was appropriate, which i can understand if he didnt want his name mentioned and abused.
Even though its a perfectly good name!

Then how do you explain post 15.
Although it might be regarded as strong circumstantial evidence, there is no definitive proof that Spook is (or has ever been) called Simon. There is one little girl whom I occasionally call Simon, but that was a joke because she kept getting my name wrong. I have very little idea why I chose the name Simon on the spur of the moment, since it bears no resemblance to hers and has no particular associations with anyone we knew.

What makes you think Spook is little (previous aspersions aside)?
More to the point, whenever anyone is first named (Simon or anything else) they are little! Otherwise you have nothing to call (or yell at) them in all those years while they are becoming less little.
