smiley - ok

Interesting isn't it, that focus seems to swing back to the actual writing. For a time, it was all about graphical design - now copy counts as well smiley - smiley

I thought it was a nice intro to the subject, it does seem that there is a tenancy for people doing their first web-site (or two) to cram as many gadgets & widgets on to a page as possible and not to worry about good content design.

well I thought everyone did crappy websites for there first, it's when you get upto your 20th and your still cramming in the 'hommer' widgets.

No PHP is website 20, Perl is 6000 or there abouts, so many people condem perl because PHP is easyer, yet I say it's a better lanuage dispite it's dificult nature to learn.

and JSP is ok at least you didn't say .Net, then I would have had to shoot you on site for muteny.

Back to the written word (I like words smiley - smiley)- one of these quick lists of what (not) to do in terms of writing for the web: http://www.marketingprofs.com/3/mcgovern13.asp

As it says: "What’s the single most important thing that could improve the Web? It’s not broadband. It’s better writing. "
