By some miracle I've managed to wangle a trip to Lille on Thursday 28th...
So...
1) Lille to London - 2 hours on the Eurostar
2) That weekend is the first weekend of the h2g2 film being shown
3) I'm not looking after my son that weekend
Therefore - I'm going to try and get across once I've finished work (probably friday sometime)
Anyone around?

Love to old bean, but in typically perverse Whisky fashion you choose your first visit to the UK when you can drink for ages with me being in the states getting married.

Unfortunately I'm a 3-hour train-ride away from London
I want someone to see the hootoo film with as well.
I even have two free tickets (to a film of my choice at my local cinema)

You've an important choice here - Beer or Marriage? Don't do it!!! You know it makes sense to stay here and get drunk (it'll be far less expensive in the long run 
)
GB - Don't think I'll have the time to get up as far as you in a weekend - i'd end up spending the whole weekend on a train.

I should be able to be around. 
I already have four dates (2 teenagers, a small boy and another Researcher) for the film, but if you don't mind venturing a tiny bit out of London then I'm sure we'll be able to find a spare seat. I think we're going on the Thursday.
Will you be here the whole weekend? Having just babysat my neice and nephew my SIL will owe me a night out. Just let me know what you're going to be up to, where and when.

= I won't be around on the Thursday, I've an appointment in Lille on the Thursday so I'll either be arriving late Thursday evening or early Friday Morning.
= At least we can meet up at some time over the w/e - I'll probably be travelling back on Sunday

Are you going to advertise your presence anywhere else? I I should be able to get a sitter on Saturday night, but just in case I can't you might want to find a few more people to come!
