I miss my mother, who died two days after Saint Patrick's Day in 2013. She was always thinking of things to remind me of so I didn't get into trouble. Like Daylight Savings Time, which starts this evening. I would call home to arrange to come out on Sunday, and she would remind me that it was time to set the clock ahead . Quite often, I would need the reminder. She was the one who always knew what the rest of the family was doing, and which of my former classmates had keeled over. She was the one who kept giving me flashlights and emergency kits for my car. If there was any way for her to keep me \safe she would find it .
