So, the last day of November, and the last (regularly scheduled) bit of waffle from me.

Should I do a retrospective of everyone's journals? Nah, several people who are better at writing have already done some.

I suppose I could tie up some loose ends.

We haven't seen any yet--I think I may need to worm the chickens, especially since I've learned that it won't hurt them any to worm them if they don't, in fact, have any. Souffle, who was the most ragged looking, now has half-grown feathers everywhere that she'd only had pinfeathers, so she looks more like a chicken instead of a dino in disguise. You can expect a journal when I find the first egg!

Penny is *still* patchy and itching, though the homemade cone had to be retired because it fell apart. That, and she wasn't eating with it on, so the poor thing's skinnier than when we got her--her ribs are countablesmiley - sadface The medicine I'd ordered online arrived today, so she's been dosed with the help of a good grain-free can of dogfood (Taste of the Wild, if you're wondering)--since I'll be repeating doses, and grain gives Penny digestive problems (not that she seems to mind, but why should *we* suffer for giving her medicine?).
