h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

First off, I really don't like Gage's mouse...

But anyway, just a quick update (though I'll likely be on again later)

Travel went well--Faith fell asleep on the plane between leveling out and the beverage cart starting down the aisle, and woke up when we started the descent.

The micro-meet went well too--Faith has 2 new admirers I'll do a meet report when I get home, and provide a link.

Grandma had been home a day or so when we arrived, and seemed to be in a bit better shape than I was expecting (as I'm sure you'd gathered from my journal last week, I'd interpretted what Aunt Candy told me to mean that Grandma was going very quickly...) HOwever, Grandma did have trouble breathing again on Dontbry (Sunday), so she went back to the hospital again. Came back home this morning, and hospice folks will be coming daily now.

I'd wave back, Amy, but the wave would never get to you through the howling, icy wind that has descended on us here. There's snow and sleet, all being blown with great force. My windshield kept icing up when I was driving home after work. Things rattle and shake outside.
