The names they came with are Jelly Bean and Mittenssmiley - yuk Mittens got renamed Jasmine as the cage was being squeezed into the back seat, and Jelly Bean was renamed Esther late the next evening. We told Faith she could name one, and that we were naming the other. Keeping in mind that we're dealing with a 4 year-old princess-lover, and a 2 person committee, guess who named whosmiley - winkeye We're having camera troubles*, but we'll get pictures up sometime.

All I've got left to do to finish getting ready to head to Aunt Candy's for a few days are the cleaning things on the list, charging the phone (which I even have listed as happening tomorrow anyway) and finishing packing toys and books, keeping in mind that there's not a lot of space, and that it's supposed to rain most the time we'll be there.

*We can't find the camera--it may have been lost or stolensmiley - sadface

I was sure that Hope and Charity would be high on the list of names for the guinea pigs--unless you're saving those names in case you had more daughters. smiley - winkeye

Well, since Jasmine had her name before the cage was even all the way in the car... Before I said that one would be named by adults and the other by Faith, they *were* going to be 'Princess' and 'Jasmine'--I tried to do a botanical theme, but Tom didn't like any of those names *shrug* Esther got her name because she looks a bit matriarchalsmiley - laugh

And to think that we just went with names like Hilda, Gertie, Wilma, Verna and Dort ... We had as many as 450 bunnies at one time, and about 150 guinea pigs, a small business for the lads in the family.

BTW, Dad thought the names were good, ... All his sisters and sister-in-laws. smiley - laugh

To be quite honest, I don't think any of them knew. Which may be a good thing. Some of those critters were very 'prolific', if you catch my drift. Not what some very sombre Catholic women might wish to be associated with. smiley - laugh

If you had as many as 450 smiley - bunnysmiley - bunny, what did you do with them? Were you raising them to sell to butchers, or to pet shops?

It was through another chap, off to pet shops as best I recall. To be honest, my older brothers began the affair, and as they got busy with school, I was obligated to take over. And never really asked where they ultimately went. smiley - erm

Well, rabbits don't have long lives, so whichever it was, they have all hopped off to bunny heaven by now. smiley - smiley

Ye gawds, can you imagine how prolific bunnies and other small critters are in heaven? I can only guess that there are zones that only gentle children, and very patient adults, dare walk. So many little wiggly-twitchy-whiskers every where. smiley - biggrin

I doubt that they procreate in heaven, Nick.
Very likely they spend their time reading Bunny Latin and
telling stories about their lives on Earth.
