One of my colleagues has been out recently.

I'm mostly better, but I'm glad that there's no school tomorrow, so Faith and I can sleep in one more day. Poor kid had to miss her first Valentine's Day party--she had a temperature of 101.5 half an hour *after* having tylenol.

Awww, poor little ... With our winter being up and down the scales with temperatures and weather, nearly everyone has been haunted by one bug or another. I was thinking of slinking away to CalifornIay, but maybe not now ...

Hope you and your small tribe are feeling much better now.

At one point in time, the brain was thought to be merely a mucus gland. I can sympathize with that theory-- < alert>felt like my brain was leaking out my nose this morning. But at least the green gunk seems to be gone, and I don't think there's any more gunk in my chest--feels like the cough is more a normal-for-me result of drainage, not actual chest congestion</ alert>. I'm going in tomorrow to see about getting us back on MediCal--the only reason we'd gotten off was the ridiculously low cap on savings, but we've managed to spend down our savings below that ceiling--low enough that there's no worries for awhile on bumping against it--we can easily use up our return we'll be getting once I file, once we get the forms from the IRS we need (I'll be calling tomorrow to see if I can file now, and send the forms I'm waiting on when they arrive, but probably not) Then, if this doesn't go away, I can actually go see a What a concept, eh?

If the brain is a mucus machine, then that would explain a lot.

Mine certainly seems to be in over-drive today.

Mine only overdoes it when I go out for a walk in the cold air.
