Or in the UK--I'm assuming the price works coming the other way *hint, hint*
I'm afraid the not-so-subtle approach is going to last until a certain nighthoover devotee is actually able to search in Sacramento

I'll check once I get caught up with backlog (assuming the computer/browser doesn't crash... I love the Opera browser, but the desktop doesn't...)

Yes, it's cheap. Let's see, if I could find a similarly cheap roundtrip from Boston to Sacramento, I could go out & visit Amy for a little while, then take advantage of the California-to-London package, and meet lots of Hootooers, then fly back to California and back to Boston.
It's a trifle complex, though.

That'd be ... The cheap price is to San Fran, not Sacramento, but rides can be given And now that I think of it, the $305 price is probably to/from LA, which I didn't bother to check, because that's just a *bit* far to offer taxi service San Fran's just a couple hours away, depending on traffic.

I would want to keep things simple anyway. Boston to San Francisco is a perfectly reasonable trip. Boston and San Francisco are often compared, as they have some similarities. Unfortunately, high cost of housing is one of the similarities.

Now if only there would be an opportunity from Johannesburg to California for, say, about $50!

I guess I'm going to hafta visit Europe, Britain, and the USA (and Canada) even if just *once* in my life ...

I wouldn't wonder why ... I would *know* why! It would be because I don't have the dough. Right now even $305 is way out of my league ...

Same here, actually... Though in my case, it'd be $610 (Faith flies free until she's 2) plus 3 passports...
