Amy Pawloski, aka 'paper lady'--'Mufflewhump'?!? click here to find out... (ACE)

It's been rather busy around here lately. I found a legitimate online business thing, and have been rather busy with that (in case anyone's been wondering why I've only been on here once or twice a week lately... If anyone noticed...)

Faith told me a couple of weeks ago that she was going to marry Skyler when she gets married. She was given a ring last night and it's now been squeezed down to fitsmiley - laugh

Thanksgiving week was busy--Dontbry night, we were invited to a friend's church for their Thanksgiving dinner. Wibble night was Tom's 30th birthday and Daily Bread's Thanksgiving dinner. On Thanksgiving Day, we went to the community dinner at the fairgrounds. So I've been turkeyed out, and don't have any turkey dishes to wash.

I think I've actually got Faith's Christmas gifts from us all bought, except for stocking stuffers, of course. And Tom might get her something just from him. So I can take Faith with me when I go shopping. She'll be getting a bunch of books, a 4-piece pj set (pajamas, slippers, and robe), a poster of a mommy and baby tiger, and a Sit 'n Spin (on sale, probably about what mine cost 30 years or so agosmiley - bigeyes).

Faith is going to be an angel in the church play. She and Skyler were almost cast as Mary and Joseph, except Faith asked to be an angel. Since there were a grand total of 2 boys that showed up today for the first rehearsal, the older boy is Joseph, and there's 1 shepherd. I've volunteered to burn a cd with the songs that are going to be sung for the children, since 3 out of the 8 actor/singers aren't old enough to read yet. Does the type of cd really matter, or is it fine just to use any kind of cd-r? Do I have to buy music cd-rs? Actually, looking at the blank cds I have, I need to get more anyway, so I might as well buy the music ones...

Poor Faith--she woke up twice last night crying, and I've been in her room nearly a dozen times this past hour and a half. She threw up a little, but I'm not sure if she was crying because her tummy hurt, or if she threw up because she was crying so weirdly. tom said his tummy was bothering him too--he thinks it's the leftover Chinese food from last night that we had for lunch. I'm rarely bothered by food that way, so I don't know. Gave Faith some tylenol because she said her knee was hurting (she tripped earlier today) and I haven't heard a thing from her room since, so maybe she's finally getting some sleep. I hope she's feeling well enough to go to school tomorrow--we've had a 5 day weekend, and she really misses her school friends.

I've been trying to explain it to Tom for the past 3 weekssmiley - erm

The simplest way to explain... No, can't do that, 'cause it's a commercial site... I could... nope, commercial... smiley - eureka

http://tinyurl.com/2bw4kw though it's a bit long to read... Though reading through it again, maybe I can condense a bit... You know those sites you come across, offering free iPods, laptops, and the like? And you go to them, and it turns out that you have to do X amount of advertiser offers and get X amount of people to do the same? Well, there's forums where people will pay you to be a referral for them on those sites, and you can pay other people to be referrals for you* or else trade being a referral for someone for their being a referral for you. The freebie sites get paid for every completed offer, the advertisers get new leads, people who stick with it get free (or at least less than it would cost to buy outright) stuff or money, so it's a good thing all around. Since a certain percentage of people give up before cashing out, the freebie sites get an OK profit. That's really all I can say here, or else I might bump against the 'No advertising' rulesmiley - erm

*Eventually. After you've done enough trading to get a good reputation.
