I'll be netless at home until further notice. (I'm sort of assuming the phone company won't bother moving a phone number for (theoretically) less than 2 weeks.) I'll get online elsewhere at least once, so, on the off chance anyone needs to contact me, email me

I'm tired of packing, and I just used my last box. What's left can get shoved into suitcases and large garbage bags--movers are due at 9am.

*mumble, grumble*

The manager thought she'd already told me that they were running behind again--no empty units left to move folks into. They'd been on schedule this time until a couple of people that had been planning to stay with family decided to move into an empty unit for the duration. No idea when there will be units available. (I had her explain to Faith, since Faith wasn't believing me when I told her that we weren't moving today, after all--which I'd figured out long before the office was open, since I'd found the move-date-list last night, and the people that were supposed to be moved yesterday and the day before are still in their apartments.) So I'll be unpacking a bit later. Not that I hadn't been planning on unpacking today--I was just expecting to do so in a different place.

So I'm off to fix my name, and blame 2legs

Got new dates today--July 11th through the 23rd. Good thing we're having Faith's party early! Assuming all goes well this time, there's plenty of time either side of our anniversary trip, as well.

Faith's party is the day after tomorrow, so I know we're safe there I may make a request for the move-out date (if it gets changed again) to be after the 19th. That way I'll have a day after we get back from our trip to repack the kitchen things I unpacked, and the food.

I'm thinking the USPS lost my invitation, 'coz I know that Canada Post would never do such a thing. So I suppose the next best thing is to hope some piccies get posted on-line.

I never did call D, who is the one person Faith specifically wanted to come It's too late tonight to call. I hope D will be able to come with just 1 day's notice

Were you able to get D. to come to the party?

I'll take that as a "no".

A pity, really, because there are so few parties in February and early March, just when winter-weary people could use some.
