Amy Pawloski, aka 'paper lady'--'Mufflewhump'?!? click here to find out... (ACE)

I wasn't on here much yesterday... Busy at w*rk, believe it or not! And on a Poets! Didn't quite get everything finished, either, as I had to leave shortly after lunch to go to the dentist. I honestly can't remember the last time I'd beensmiley - blush Of course, what with me being preggie, they refused to do x-rays, and I fully understand and appreciate thatsmiley - ok So they just did a visual exam. I've cavities in all 4 wisdom teeth (yep, I've got all of them) and in a premolar. (That one must be nice and big, because I've been able to feel the thing with my tongue for awhile now...) And 'round about the time I found out I was pregnant, a piece broke off of one of my wisdom teeth, and it's been eroding merrily away (obviously I knew about that!) Hurt like all get out for quite awhile there... Naturally during the first trimester, when you want to avoid taking medication as much as possible! Anyway, I go back in a month to get the premolar filled, and a temporary filling in the eroding tooth, because they can't extract it until after the baby's born. Y'see, since it's a wisdom tooth, I've got to go to an oral surgeon and get anaes... aneas..aneth.. knocked out. Which if I had to have emergency lifesaving surgery a doctor would be willing to do, but not to pull a tooth. Especially since the thing doesn't even hurt anymore, and hasn't for weeks. Nothing was said about my other wisdom teeth...

Those of you that pay any attention to times on postings may notice that I was posting at a very unusual hour, for me (in fact, the time I was amazed at Neugen about posting atsmiley - winkeye) There's a perfectly reasonable explanation--I fell asleep at 7 pm, got up at 8.30 pm, went to bed, and woke up at 5 am... Likely I'll end up taking a nap this afternoon, unless I decide to try to get to bed early again tonight, since we have to get up pretty darn early tomorrow. Every Easter, our church has a service outdoors, and Tom and I are helping set up, and then we've been invited to a picnic after, so no nap...

Well, considering that before I had my mouth all rearranged by an orthodontist (I had a 14mm overbite) my wisdom teeth would have come in sideways, I can't really complain--I've had 10 trouble-free yearssmiley - smiley

Well, if you must know....smiley - erm

There's a small group (only a few thousand)
of H2G2 Researchers who call themselves
Thingites. Their claim to fame is that they
have given alternative names to the days
of the week. Instead of "Friday," they use
"Poets," which is an acronym for Push Off Early,
Tomorrow's Saturday."

Or, maybe it stands for People Opining Eternally
Too Silly. smiley - silly
