happy whitsun everybody
i know it's a kind of non-event - and ever since nykøbing f bryghus stopped brewing its famous/notorious green whitsun-brew we don't even have a special beer for the occasion any more
plus it is the last danish bank holiday from now on and until christmas
but still: happy whitsun...

WHOO-HOO seems i was wrong there. a search on google tells me both thisted, tuborg and harboe still brew pinsebryg. the latter only measly 5,9%, though. but still: weak
is better than no
at all

sorry - again! - seems i was mistaken - again!
turns out you can buy tuborg pinsebryg on the internet, but alas, only vintage bottles
i found me a nice collection of new danish s though to get me through whitsun
and now there are no more holidays until december 26th
