You've got a very short deadline there, have you already written these?
The reason that I ask is because the University is being improved quietly in the background, and when we announce the changes we're likely to limit the number of entries per project.

Hi, Mina. Maybe you can help, 'cos I'm writing one that I haven't put up yet. This Vet Nursing one looks like it might be six entries - is that likely to be too many? Without giving anything away, is there a ball park figure available yet for max. no. of entries in the new, improved, University? What do we do if there are more topics than the max no - multi-topic entries?

the end date should have been March not February sorry - typo!
the maximum entries would be 4 prossibly less (3) although it does look alot from my listings!
I have alot of stuff already written / easily available as it is my profession but obviously would need to be very accurate and double check everything i have so far.

P.S if you can hint at the number of entries likely to be accepted per project then i can easily restructure the thought behind the project - ie base it specifically on UK nursing and small animal only (no equine)
Cheers Mort

We're thinking of recommending five per project, although it will be open to negotiation.
It's still something that we're working on, but there will probably be some sort of compromise. For instance, if you want to write 20 entries on one subject, we are likely to treat it as four projects for a number of reasons.

So shall i go ahead with this project? I notice the dept of vet science doesnt actually have any entries as yet which was gave me the thought to do one!
Let me know
cheers mort

Yes, go right ahead. I'll add you on to the new project pages, rather than the current one though.
Good luck!

Are you looking for a sub for when this project's finished? If you are ... I'm volunteering!
It looks like a very interesting subject.

Definately looking for a Sub!!!
Volunteer accepted
Veterinary nursing is certainly more 'involved' and highly skilled than most people think. For instance we are trained to do more than a basic registered human nurse and are allowed to do a wide range of stuff, but with that comes greater responsibility. We do more than walk the dogs, stroke the cats and shovel , and that is what i would like to get accross in the project I think. (I was qualified for 2 years before my dad even realised my job involved more than that)
Thanks very much, i will keep you posted

Mina,
This should have been done by now. But i am running behind.
List of excuses:
1)Since i was last working (been off due to illness) they changed all the courses and and course providers aswell as structure (again) so had to redo lots of stuff i had on it already
2)I havent really been that well the last couple of weeks
3)Current affairs meant i spent more time elsewhere on h2g2 being a meanie
4)The dog ate my homework...well i dont have a dog, but does the cat wee-ing in my plant pots count?
I know you have been rebuilding the Uni so if you dont think this is a 'go-er' then i will reshuffle stuff and stick it through peer review but i am still keen to carry on. Alot of it is done (the worst bits), just needs pulled together really.
Let me know,
thanks
Mort

That's fine, carry on as you were. If the Uni relaunches and you are still hanging about we might have to have words though.
