The 10 Commandments of H2G2

1. GuideML is very simple (Even I learnt it in less than 3 hours!!) so have a look at the guideML clinic under help FAQ's.

2. Smileys (as they're known) are those cool little symbols in postings. They are put within 2 brackets like <>. If you put cool then you get . If you put ale then you get . If you put stout then you get . If you put magic then you get . If you put huh then you get . If you put scientist then you get .

3. A full list of smileys can be found in the GuideML clinic.

where # is replaced for someones user no' (their user no' minus the U) to see what they wrote to make their page.

5. Experiment. It works wonders.

6. Write a guide entry, then advertise, then enjoy. It'll make you feel good.

7. Don't become an A.C.E. It's a lot of work for very little return!!!!

8. Don't insult us. We like this place. If you don't care then please leave but I for one hope you'll stay and maybe mature to above Christians level (okay, maybe that's a bit below the belt!!!)

9. All GuideML tags begin with <"some word"> and end with </"same word">. Take a look at the guide clinic, it'll explain it a hell of a lot better than me.
