Congrats on a massively in-depth and enlightening article, and a special pat on the back for some innovative and artistic use of the word "hench". I had already decided to avoid any further Highlanderage after seeing the mind-blowingly poorly plotted first sequel, and shall take your information as confirmation that my decision was wise.

To be fair, bits of the TV series seriously approach watchable. I think the basic idea actually benefits from an extended timeframe, but it can be problematic for some people that it the film pretty much closed the book. It's a better-than-average action series, so I suppose a lot depends on whether you like action series. That and whether you can last through a slow first season or so to the good stuff.
