Yes that is right but that was the American title for the book.

This was the first Agatha Christie novel I ever read and picked it up without any preconceptions. I thought someone who had written so many novels might have had to spread their talents quite thin in each book but was most definitely proved wrong with that assumption. This book has suspense, murders and a (for me) quite unexpected ending. Great stuff!

I am a huge Agatha Christie fan aswell, the first book of hers I ever read was 4-50 From Pddington and as you say you were definately prooved wrong she really does have the ability to keep you glued to the end doesnt she?

There have been at least 3 movie versions of the book. The first with Louis Hayward was fairly faithful to the book, the 2nd version had the murders happening atop a mountain top accessable only by cable car, and the 3rd version takes place in a jungle setting.\\
