A Conversation for The Bush

Apologies for first entry on this subject. Either
aliens ate my brain, or I have just driven across
the Nullarbor Plain which bored me so that I omitted
to say that 'The Bush' is more interesting than the
Nullarbor Plain.

How can it be part of The Bush when Nullabor means treeless?
forgive my pedantisism.

"The Bush" includes the bits without trees. Tough grasses and shrubbery (known locally as "scrub") counts as bush. The only thing not counting as bush is desert.

This is not interesting. I thought this would be more interesting. I am in the wrong place. So I will go now.

The Bush is even less interesting to those fooled into engaging in that ritual Australian pasttime "Boshwalking".
If someone ever invites you to go with them on one of these expeditions just shoot yourself.
It's quicker and less painful.

Ah yes, but you won't be able to slowly torture yourself for six hours hiking up a mountain to see a view that can also be seen on a $1 postcard.

But at least when you visit it for real it looks less like a giant turd than on most of the postcards.

You gotta stop buying postcards from the proctology institute
Giant Turd Postcards
Legolas Posted Jul 28, 1999
If the picture looks like a giant turd, watch out. With a cobination of many large and bizarre creatures in the area and a large number of photographers with bad eyesight, it is quite possible that the camera was pointed the wrong way and it is a giant turd.
