Experienced travellers and Latin scholars may agree that this is perhaps the most accurately named geographical feature on this poor planet...there are literally 'No Trees' for about 600 miles across
this flat Australian plain. The road which crosses it has a straight 127 miles long...no bends...the railway has a straight 300+ miles long. Any other features so aptly named?
