Thanks you lot of jarmbies. Can't wait to meet you or your country. I've always had this deep down romantic feeling that Oz was some kind of spiritual home. maybe cos I'm a right old mixture and I love the sea and have always wanted to experience the wide open spaces of the dessert. I've been to the rain forest in South America, the USA, Russia and a few places in Europe. I've always had a good time and found people the world over to be basically friendly even allowing for cultural differences. Humour is a big thing for me...
That whining aeroplane joke has always got my goat. Maybe some of the poms that went to Oz in the past were the sort that were miserable f****rs, desperate to get away from Blighty, rather than wanting to come to Oz cos they liked Oz. In fact we were pleased to see the back of them.
I'll be curious to find out if Aussies themselves ever whinge. And the first Aussie to call me a whiner or a whinger will receive a smack in the mouth......only kidding, or maybe not.

Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Posted Feb 6, 2004
Thats actually all the time Kea
To answer an earlier question: Frenzal Rhomb, hmmm, where to start...
They are very popular with the festival types as they seem to be playing at every rock festival in Sydney. They put on a good show but it is't really my thing musically - not heavy enough, for starters, or light enough, depending on the mood. Very popular with the 16 - 24 crowd which i have not been a member of for some time.

They're kinda funny as far as punks go ...and I've heard from people I know that they're really easy to get along with, if that helps !
