What guarantee of copyright does this competition hold on your original manuscript?

I have never heard of this competition before - to be honest it looks a little "Mickey Mouse" (and I don't mean "grouse")
It does say that you retain the copyright of whatever you submit (I should hope so!)
Prizes are small and you have to pay to enter - and there's no mention of anything being published - personally I would be wary - but what would I know ....

I'm running the competition myself and the reason you haven't heard of it before is that it's a new one. I ran one earlier this year and now I'm running a second one. The results from the first one are on www.geocities.com/spiky_one/comp.html. Nearly every competition has an entry fee - it's where the prize money comes from unless the person running it has sponsors (which I don't) or is rolling in money (which I'm not). I'd like to be able to publish some of the entries in an anthology but that would cost thousands of dollars (see the above comments about money).
