Hello Amy,
What's a mufflewhump?
Thank you for saying 'Happy Birthday' to me. It was great to get messages from people all over the world. How is California? I had a lovely birthday. I've got some roller blades and a game cube. Love from Darra

A mufflewhump is whatever you want it to be! Think of it as kind of a solidified wish It looks like sort of a dustbunny until you want something while holding it. Some people end up with something to eat or drink, and some people have turned theirs into pets!
Anyway, I'm glad you had a good birthday
Well, California is as big as the UK, so there's a big difference, weather-wise, between one part and another. But the part I'm in gets *almost* too hot in the summer, and doesn't really have much of a winter (At least I don't think so--the people that have lived in Sacramento all their lives, or have moved here from southern California probably wouldn't agree) I used to live in a part of California that a friend of mine once said had weather a lot like London, so I know that the heat here would be a lot more than you're used to! Especially since you're quite a bit north of London (if I'm remembering right)...

Hi Amy,
It sure sounds hot where you are. It's raining today so mum's worried about the ladies final at Wimbeldon! I'm going swimming in a little while.
We live in Linconshire which is quite a bit north of London. I've never been to London, but mum and dad want to take us this year. I can't wait to see the Natural History Museum - mum says I'll love it.

Well, to give you an idea of how hot it gets, once I actually bothered to convert from Fahrenheit to Celcius, and it was 45!
