They say curiosity killed the cat. I wanted to know if there was anyone who read some of the other books of the

I have only just finished reading the Restaurant at the End of the Universe for the nth time. It is very funny...in some ways I prefer it to the Hitchhiker's ... Still! I haven't read the rest yet though!

Mostly Harmless, in my humble earthling opinion is sadly not as good as the other four.
Although it does have it's wonderfully strange points (I refer to the king). All in all though it is a good wrap up of the story.

To really get the whole picture, you should of course read all 5 volumes of the trilogy, they follow each other nicely, (at least as nicely as could be expected)
Don't cheat yourself, off to your local library or bookstore, and report back here when you've read the rest of the books.

those of you who're looking for the THHGTTG books (if you haven't already) will find them at amazon in a collection called "The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and it contains a bonus short story: Young Zaphod Plays it Safe

"young Zaphod plays it Safe" is that at the end of Mostly Harmless or is it a sepereate book, I,m eager to find out...please do reply...

'Young Zaphod Plays It Safe' is a short story, it appeared in 'The More Than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide' after the first four books in the h2g2 series.

Yeah, my friend has a huge edition with that bonus story. And she won't lend it to me (*glare*). I love the HGTTG.... but Mostly Harmless confused the hel outta me. The Sandwich Maker was good.... the rest (especially the end!) was sorta "Huh?"
