Welcome to H2G2...I'm afraid I'm an internet junkie so I don't know anything about LD apart from the fact that we've had quite a few immigrants from there
Try getting in touch with Loup D'Argent by clicking here> A802469 ...seems to run the show on showing old LDers the way this place works and that page is (I think) LD central where most of the LD immigrants keep track of old friends (and new ones).

i am/was loup.dargent on LD...
i mainly used the library and quoted most of the time in the politics room... but when i started on LD over a year ago and was on chat my first user name was MAN-IN-DARK...
then decided to go for a name that gives a hint about my nationality...
if you want to know more about people who post messages to you on here, you can click on their name at the top of the message and that will take you to their personal space...

when you get a chance if you could activate your personal space by writing a few words in your introduction that would be great.... then it will allow other people to post you messages with more info/advice/etc...
i feel a bit cheeky mentioning the FoLDers Arms A913150 [our own virtual bar] again in this thread but it's one good way of talking with other LDers...
i've assumed that you were already using the digibox friendly plain skin/background, but just in case here is the entry for it: A948602 ...

glad that you've managed to come to h2g2... it is a big and great site... lots to see and lots to do... and lots of great people on here...
a few things first... you might need a more digibox friendly skin to access long conversations... if you haven't done so already, do go to A948602 everything is explained there...
you can also visit the FoLDers Arms [our own bar...

Well mmm unfortunatly I cannot say that is I do not know who stole your name, what a terrible quandry a person with a stolen name, how would you go forward in fact does that mean you cannot go back, a stolen name, does that mean now you are devoid of who you were and have to re create who you are ?

oh.... you referring to kallisti's name... it could be the username [the one we register with] but it seems that whoever has registered under KALLISTI is not using it as a screen name/nickname so it's
most of the time it's just coincidence... i was surprised myself to see that there were some loupy etc already on here as nicknames and one dargent [saint dargent]... it hasn't caused any problem...
