Welcome Researcher 190275! I see you've not got round to changing your Researcher Number to a nickname yet. You can do this by clicking on the 'Preferences' button.
I'm one of the <./>ACE</.>s (Assistant Community Editors), whose job it is to welcome new Researchers and show them the ropes.
I hope you have been having a good look around and finding out what a fun place it is.
To get you started, you might want to check these out:

You might also want to see what's going on with guide entries, which you can do by clicking on the large green button just underneath the BBC toolbar at the top of the screen. You can then make helpful comments or say how good you think the entries are. It's also a good way of making friends (if that's what you want).
You may also want to spice your home space up. Check out: A690518 and see what I mean.

As most "yanks" I havent the slightest idea what I'm doing at this moment..
But, I'd like to take part of this site because I like what I've seen so far..
Also, I'm afraid I've been a fan of those Brits since my youth..
Monty Python, Cook& Moore, the Goons, etc...
So, I'm looking forward to p*****g off many here ..
As I said I'm a Yank, so it's a given right?..
I mean p*****g off everyone..

Hi researcher 191970, I'm an ACE (Assistant Community Editor, I do greetings "and stuff"). At the top of this conversation there is a useful posting by another ACE giving some useful hints to get started.
Its great that you're so enthusiastic, but be careful...
