time is not only an illusion, but also a HUMAN convention.
I think when anyone is asked the time, they should always reply 42. I am down with that. I never have a watch anyways...

Same here, what's the point in a watch anyway (even if it is digital) when you have h2g2?
All they ever do is tell you when you're late anyway .

However, lest we not forget what God, I mean, Douglas Adams thinks... Humans think digital watches are pretty neat (This is found in the in the prolouge of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy)
time....
Y.T. Posted Jan 31, 2002
I stopped wearing a watch about a year ago, when my best friend saw me with one and said, "I don't know why you bother wearing that. Time doesn't run that way anyhow." So I pondered it for three days, and at the end, in a fit of righteous, intellectual pique, threw my watch into a corner, where it has remained ever since, beeping at me.
Yours truly,
Y.T.

..got one of those passed around the universe emails yesterday, apparently 20:02 on the 20th of Feb in the year 2002 is the redundance champion number this month. (20:002 20/02/2002). I will celebrate this moment of historic coolness by watching television. Or something like that.

I noticed that. It shpows up in my math a lot. Does anyone know what DOuglas Adams' middle name was? it may fit into my theory. If not, I'll have to think up a new one.
Meanwhile...
has anyone noticed that when something really, really BAD is going to happen, it's usually going to happen on the 11th?
Setpember 11th
Douglas Adams died May 11th
And the most convincing case in point
I was born February 11th.
If it doesn't happen on the 11th, it's uaully and odd day. Weird, huh?
