Oh yes!
The reconnaissance plane link alluded to for MMF.....
The SR-71 Blackbird, the Mach 3 capable aircraft that superceded the Valkyrie.
At only 105 feet in length, most of it would have easily have fit in the air intakes of the Valkyrie.
It's intakes were 70 feet deep!!

The widow maker was the name given to the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter as many, especially in the Luftwaffe crashed. Apparently it looked fantastic, but really didn't amount to much and even the American airforce didn't really want it. Nefarious dealings by Lockheed recently (in the last few years) came to light regarding Lockheed's 'selling' policy to European NATO member airforces which made it a nice little earner for the Americans.
