QI rugby cheats?

No this is not about the bloodgate scandal, though i do feel that extra penalties on the club are unfair on the fans as well as letting wasps sneek into the henikan.
Without cheating what are the five ways of scoring a try in rugby without going over the try line? (2 points for each plus points for insulting london wasps)

Dunno the answer, but I've often wondered if the London Wasps have a Bee team?

... what are the London wasps?
(does this count as an insult?)
I don't know anything about rugby, so...

london wasps are a rugby team that are always in the news, specifically cipriani, if theres any general rugby news then they ask wasps.
And yes two points for not reading about this club

Penalty try is one.
I suppose grounding the ball after it's been taken over their own line by the defending team could be another.

Would catching the ball once it's over the line count too?

Well the first one is easy, the penalty try. If a player who was (in the opinion of the referee) certain to score a try is fouled and prevented from doing so in the process then a penalty try is awarded with a nice conversion from under the posts to go...

any reason we can't insult wasps? I didnt realise impartiality ruled on the QI sshow, well not if your called Alan Davies.
Pedro gains two points for the penalty try answer and then loses them for his answer, since that would still involve running over the try line.

As far as QI thread is concerned there is no reason (within the bounds of good taste) but you cant give points for the comments...

You dont take away points just for a wrong answer -5 (pre decided by you before you set the question) as you appear not to have set any penalties do nit issue minus points for this question.
Everyone else excuse the use of training wheels new member feeling his way.

You can score a try by touching down ON the line or at the base of the posts - neither of which involve crossing the line.

Just a thought Bob - should the Scores have it's own FAQ, or at the very least be displayed somewhere more prominent than at the bottom of the Scoreboard for precisely this reason for new QI players to consult?
