Some are better than others. Our ones (New Zealand) have the front wheels swiveling and the back ones not - this works OK. In Brisbane, Australia, they have ALL the wheels swiveling. This means if the road/footpath/carpark is not flat, you find the trolley sliding sideways all the time.

You have to look at Shopping trollys as a whole group and not just the one trolly itself. I have had extremely good experiences with many of them. It comes down to anticipating the way a trolly will move. You must attune your body to the road and needs of the trolly.
Never, I say again Never use one hand to push your trolly. It sees this as a sign of weakness.

Some of the ones here in my little spot of the UK seem like they've been created by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation's sister company: 'The Sirius Commerce Corporation'. Luckily they don't often talk, just squeak!

And as for wheels that move the same direction!!! Seen any flying pigs recently? smiley - smiley

I'm not really here

The ones in Sainsburys aren't too bad, but for ease of use they should have been wide rather than long. As sometimes I have to run up to the top end to push it round the usual old dear standing secretly round the corner of the aisle.
