Blackpool... bringing tack to new levels
Jordan Started conversation Jan 18, 2002
Hi!
I think that you oiught to know that, unsatisfied with position 8 on the list, Blackpool is planning to actively increase the population of drunks, gamblers and thugs by opening a whole chail of unspeakably stupid casinos. There are rumours that the council secretly hope to make some money, but more commonly held views are that they plan to gather all the debris in the UK in one town so that they can blow it up. Experts say that this is nonsense because they haven't yet made a bomb that is localised enough (they claim to be working on it around the clock).
I plan to move out in the year.

Rest assured, Blackpool's position on the list is being closely monitored.
Having once more experienced the labyrinthine one way system recently, I think it has a good case to rise to at least.... sixth.

Of course they will have to put up with competition from Brighton who, having achieved the status of being the UK's drugs and homelessness capital (second only to London) have just decided to open a casino at Brighton Marina.
I'll be leaving Brighton and moving to Blackpool within the year....
