Top 10 most depressing places in England

This is a personal, light hearted and strictly non-negotiable list. Since I haven't visited everywhere in the country there may be worse places of which I am currently unaware. Should I find one I'll keep you posted:
1 Goole - Humberside - Everytime I've been it was shut.
2 Hindley - Greater Manchester - A timewarp back to 1948.
3 Hartlepool - Co Durham - The monkey would have hung itself if the citizens hadn't got to it first.
4 Eccles - G. Manchester - To quote Victoria Wood "Nowt worth bombing bar two old tarts at t'bus station"
5 Harlow - Essex - The roundabout capital of the world.
6 Clapham High Street - G. London - A traffic choked string of shabby fast food outlets.
7 Grantham - Lincs - Sorry, Lady Thatcher.
8 Blackpool - Lancs - Behind the tacky facade is a tacky town.
9 Cleethorpes - Lincs - See Blackpool.
10 Fleetwood - Lancs - Fishy.
