Just drove the 700 odd miles from GA to FL in 12 hours...not bad pulling a trailer. I've come back down here to get the old Trician mansion ready to put on the market.
Had a fantastic Christmas / New Year with all the family together for the first time in months at the New Trician mansion. Also did some serious remodelling in the basement and further repairs to the dam wall (we have a lake).
Hung the dartboard in the Lego Room at the same time that another hanging was taking place.
I now have the sad duty of removing all traces of Trician from the house where the little Tricians
grew up.
Never mind, "Wir Ziehen Weiter" has always been the family motto.

Found this and all I can say is... you have a Lego Room?

sorry, i missed your post till just now.
It sounds like you would fit right in, but you had better hurry.
I am currently defending the Lego room from Mrs Tricians advances into the basement. She is making organic bread and 'happy hummus' for her clients and can't make enough of it in the kitchen.
It depends on whether or not I get back up there soon enough to expand the kitchen.
You would like the Lego room though, it's 4mx5m, view over the lake, all the bricks sorted in drawers, lots of flat space, the best sound system in Georgia, all sorts of half-finished Robot projects, sculptures...and wait till you see Lego City!
Seriously, you and the tribe would be most welcome to visit if you are ever auf dieser seite.

I'm going to pack my bags right now - 
is good at bread and stuff... we (that is, The Gruesome Twosome and I) are much better at legos...
and Georgia! I have a friend there, it sounds fantastic. Plus we could finally make the Ben & Jerry Georgia Peach ice cream with the real thing!

Sho, if you saw his surroundings there you would pack even quicker. I thought you were going to say the Gruesome Twosome are much better at eating it (the bread etc.)

Lovely photos, reminding me of the photos of your 'mansion' I saw a long while ago. I kept the link for a while but I didn't bring it over with my change of computer so it is lovely to see it again. It would be my dream home if I were younger, but all those steps would be an obstacle now !
