I suppose your entry could be used to update it, but I'm not the person who would do such things, so I'll get to it later. In all honesty, I'm not entirely sure what the best course of action here is, so I defer to my other Scouts.

Sad as I am to say it, it probably should be sin-binned then. I think Jimi X is doing the updating but not sure if it's through the Sub-eds or the scouts.

Umm, yes, there's an Edited entry on the same topic, and the regular way is to have them combined via the the Update HQ (at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A496451). It's a direct thing without Scouts involved.

There once was a case when the author of the Edited piece *withdrew* his (rather short) entry to make way for the newer and much more comprehensive piece, but that was an exception and involved agreement from two parties plus the PTB.

I'd say you ask Jimi to combine them. He's a bit overworked, so this may take some days.

There's also the Royal H2G2 Procrastinators Society at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A431911, and when the time has come for you (see, I'm a member, I know how things are) to refer your entry for an update, then you might ask St. Goshoogoshoogosh for contributing the list of symptoms, they are quite instructive
