I really like this entry.

It will need a little amending to get it past the rules for Edited Entries, but only to take out the first person (I, me) stuff, which you can easily reword.

I've one query. What is/are 'fings'?

Yep, the uni bit is dinkum. The Student Guild hosts a dinner a few days after the presentation banquet and inducts the winners into 'order'. It is all done tongue-in-cheek, but it does happen.
