Hi Plato, you're really, really cool! Is that the formal greeting?
I'm back from Hols. So what I want to know is how come you live in the USA if you've got a sense of humour. I though the FDA had outlawed that. The inspectors will be after you unless you keep it cleverly under wraps.
Forgive the chronic lack of smileys, I've lost my list and my printer is out of toner! I can only remember . PS What's the format of books stores over there, are they alphabetical or by genre, e.g. crime, and where will Orson Scott Card be filed? What are the big bookstores? I'm likely to be pressed for time during my visit, so will have to maximise my purchase ability.

plato <surfer> Posted Jul 27, 2001
Hey Bogwoppit! Orson Scott Card will be classified under Science Fiction and Books are sorted by genre. Except in a Library.
Go buy Ender's game!(Card) It's my fave! The major Bookstores are: Borders, Barnes and Noble, Waldenbooks. Try Borders, They've got a Cafe. Once you're there, try the Chai, Iced, Frozen(My Favorite), or Hot. Have fun in the states! (Where are you going anyway?)

Hi Plato, we seem to be online at the same time don't we? I dunno what time it is over in Florida, but its about 6.30pm in England (which is where I live, not just a piece of general information). Have you bin doing this thing long then? I'm still trying to think of something I'm vaguely knowledgable about in order to write a pithy, relevant and pretty damn sexy guide entry about. Have you made any entries yet? Oops I'll rephrase that. Have you created any entries yet? Yeah that sounds a bit less insinuating...

Well, actually, I thought I'd take it slowly when it comes to GOOD Guide entries, but I do have a few film reviews, that no-one ever looks at. I've been doing this since May 27, and I'm on it too much.
It's 1:39 in Florida now, we're 5 hours behind you. Keep in touch!
