well, alabaster is generally despised on h2g2...
But i suppose it is easier to use... but not as fun!

Well I suppose so, but I started with alabaster and now it´s hard to change...

Greetings from Radox The Green. I have to admit to being a bit surprised to finding that the first two people to speak to me on h2g2 are both from America. Perhaps I was being naive in thinking that everyone here would be British, but the BBC thing threw me(and boy can it wrestle). Hitch Hikers, Dwarf, Python, Florida...yes, I can see how you might feel a bit out of place. Still, anything can happen in an infinite universe. Have you read any Spike Milligan? I suspect his humour would be right up your street... Cheerio!

No, i haven't read anything of his... But i've heard him in the goon show a few times, and i enjoyed his humor there... have you had any kind of listening/reading experience with Prof. Stanley Unwin?

Ah, the late Professor Stanley Unwin! I've seen him on the TV a few times but not read anything by him. He was the voice of the vicar in a Gerry Anderson puppet series too. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it, no doubt it will come to me if someone doesn't tell me first.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
