Paul, when do you think the government shutdown will end.
I had a bizarre dream about Donald Trump where he was displaying wooden cabinets that he made at an exhibition. They looked very badly made but no-one could say what they really thought about his work and could only could make compliments on how well he had done making such a fine furniture.

Trump simply has no talent for the job he was elected to do. He acts on impulse and disrupts whatever the congress was trying to do. Congress has enough problems of their own, but you would expect that because people in different districts expect their representatives to work for different causes. Ultimately, the leadership in Senate and House get things worked out, and then the president is supposed to sign off on them. This president is unable to work well with other people. At its worst, this creates problems that should not have been created.
And don't get me started about how he's supposed to be president of *all* the people. He cares about the loyalists who put him in the White House. The rest of us might as well be on Mars or Neptune for all he cares.
