I've been looking at the latest storm track predictions on Hurricane Joaquin. Not surprisingly, given its name, it is heading straight for Spain 
. After that, maybe England is next

Well, we Yanks are nothing if not generous. We knew we couldn't keep Joaquin all to ourselves, so we're sharing it with our European friends.

According to a weather web site I go, the hurricane is due to hit the UK sometime on Wednesday/Thursday. Nothing is certain about how badly Hurricane Joaquin will hit the UK. Probably weather forecasters will know more by Tuesday.

The El Nino coming up off the south Pacific is still stalling out in collision with the El Nina coming down from the Bering Straits and the Gulf of Alaska, but gradually drifting eastward across the continental USA.
