It was great to be back in Boston! Paulh went back to his house to see
how things were going. He found a basket full of turkey and other Thanksgiving food on his porch. Fluffy Pink Rabbit greeted him by saying, "How do you like the new world?"
"New world? What new world?" Paulh exclaimed.
"The world ended, and a new world was brought in to replace it," FPR explained. "It's almost exactly like the old world, except for one thing."
"And what's that?"
"Isn't it obvious? That basket of food on your porch. The Thanksgiving Pilgrims brought it. John Alden and Priscilla came by in their horse-drawn carriage yesterday with the food. They explained that from now on, they will bring food to every household in America on Thanksgiving Day. Sort of like Santa Claus on Christmas and the Easter Bunny on Easter, and the Tooth Fairy whenever you loose a tooth...."
Paulh tasted the food. It was delicious.
"Oh, and your new wife knocked on the door an hour ago. She's Betty Boop."
"But Betty Boop is a cartoon character," Paul objected.
"She had a reality transplant and is fully human now."

I reckon Paulh is going to break a tooth and the tooth fairy is going to muscle in before it goes anywhere myself...

A major war will break out as Betty Boop and the Loch Ness Monster arrive at the same time and fight to be Paulh's wife. 
The climax will be a pie fight that will reach all the way to Washington.
