Why 'Pedro The Lion'?
Umm . . . the Panasonic Design Challenge is this really evil engineering challenge for high school people. I HATE THE PANASONIC DESIGN CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!
You have to buile a car or something to get through the course that they make up. It's REALLY hard. REALLY hard. Argh.
On Friday I got home from school at three and worked right through until two in the morning. On Saturday I got up at ten in the morning and worked, again, until two in the morning. Then on Sunday I missed Church completely, all three times I could have gone, and worked until midnight. I just *barely* made it on the bus this morning.
Ack.

Why Pedro the Lion? It sounded cool... even though my name aint Pedro and I am not, the last time I checked (though I tend to ignore mirrors) a lion. However, this that is (as is Training) an alternate account... so
peace.

I was so tired this morning from working all night because it didn't snow enough I went to school out of uniform and got a detention.

*mumbles something about dumb uniforms*
*mutters something about receiving over 3 inches of snow and /still/ having to go to school*
peace.

It snowed, then it rained. We only get off if Newark Airport is closed.

Going to a private school, we have teens from all over the county and farther. So they'll rarely cancle school unless the school district it's located in closes. But you don't have to go to school if the school district you live in closes... so you have a chance either way... I failed on both accounts today...
peace.

Spike Anderson is sorry he can't catch up on a whole month's backlog Posted Jan 8, 2002
We had school today, but I was this morning, so I didn't go. Worked out well, since I was even more over the weekend and didn't get anything done. Dang school. Dang .

yuck yuck yuck
...
yuck
...
you mean you didn't get expelled, George?
(George goes to a *very* strict school)
y'know, i have a lot of issues with my school not closing
(i seem to have issues with everything lately, must just be a bad time...)
first of all, it's cold, there's snow, and i almost slipped twice today
second of all, my sneakers were still wet when i had gym, so i couldn't throw them in my bag, instead i had to carry them around
third of all, my mom's car doors got frozen shut
it's a brand new car (well, about a year old - still a baby)
and it's gonna be mine in four years or so, when mom gets tired of it
(i hope i hope!!!)
so there's no way i'm risking pulling off a door handle
sorry
fourth of all, it's just really, really annoying!!!
I NEED SLEEP!!!
and crazy teacher people keep piling on homework, and not checking the day they want to assign tests to see if we already have ten million, and giving us massive projects with three days to do it worth a measly little homework grade, and hitting me with *both* a Spanish *and* a Physics exam on the SAME DAY...
argh argh argh
but at least i'll have a four day weekend
on a nicer note:
been a while since i posted to this convo
great to be back
i hope the people feel better
