I got a letter from Keble College, Oxford on Christmas Eve. It informed me that my application was not successful following my interview, and that it was no longer under consideration by any college at Oxford.
Ah well, onwards we go. I have offers from Leeds and Birmingham already, with UCL to follow...

What did you apply to study?
I shouldn't worry though, all the best people get turned down from Oxford

Thanks for your kind comments, Opti.
I'm back at school now and I can't escape for the meet. There's always Oxford in February, but I know you are away, so that'll make it the Summer Meet, by which time I'll be free from school *forever* and drinking until the last train home!
Have fun in London...

Nah, they've got to take their fair share of the 50% in all categories including those who can't spell!

The meet will go ahead in Feb. as I'm still in the Oxford vicinity until the summer. Then, who knows? I guess VIP / someone else will still organise them, and I'll probably still come since the rail fare from home is cheap...
