For those of you not already aware, there's going to be a Meet in Oxford in November. The details you'll no doubt already be waiting for are over at A1291835...

Whoami?, I've been thinking (and as no real suggestions have been made) how about we just meet in a coffee house somewhere? You can't go into pubs, I know (unless it's changed from last year) so that's off as an idea, but can you think of anywhere?
If people would still rather go ice skating or whatever, fine, but I know that personally I'd rather not. We could always split up, of course though.

Actually, that's fair. I was keen to work something formal out but by this stage in the year a lot of us will be pretty tired. Let's meet somewhere inviting for a coffee instead, and then decide together what (if anything) the assembled mass can be bothered to do...

What we do need to place now is *where*. The Coffee Republic down by Games Workshop might be big enough, but who knows how many of us there actually will be.

Upstairs at Coffee Republic? Should be big enough. If not, we can turf out a few pensioners.
VIP: it would be great if you could email me as I will need to get hold of you on the day - I may be late, you see...
