Colenl in GRU (Soviet Military Intelligence). Offered to spy for the British, and was in place to pass vital intelligence about Kruschev's hand to Kennedy. Asked to come over, but was unmasked, and shot.
Try a such on google or something. I heard about him off Frederick Forysthe Books (Fist of God and the Deciever) where Forsythe uses him to illustrate points on Spys.
