I know a few people here on hootoo have read it through and I was wondering should I stick it into PR? I'd obviously read through it again first and I think that there's a bit more that I can add, but based on how it is at the moment should I stick it in or does it need a bit more work first?
I don't really want to post it to PR and find it needs load of work, so you guys get asked first.

I've had a quick look, and it looks interesting. 
I think PR is so quiet, it would be good to have an entry in there.

It needs quite a lot of work.
I like it, it's interesting and has a lot of detail (perhaps too much in a few places) and it fills a gap in the Guide, but it's quite some way from being ready to go into Peer Review yet.

In that case you could try the what's the word? The forum which is before PR. Edited guide writing workshop, I think it is called.

you got a very informative guide entry there; looks like you have it down in the main, i am sure you will get some constructive suggestions if you put it in PR or the other forum Bel mentioned. Above all it will educate/throw light on an interesting, and useful to many, subject - which is all that a guide entry should do/could be.

Right quick question. Do I bring existing products into it or should I leave them out? After all the tech market moves quickly and I don't want the article to become too outdated, as I think it might, if products are referred to. So, what do you think?
